Woof Island began with a simple mission — to provide dog owners with a middle ground between cheap, processed treats and overpriced natural options. The early team discovered that excessive middlemen in the pet treat supply chain were driving up prices and reducing quality. So, rather than follow the traditional model, Woof Island took a more hands-on approach, vertically integrating the entire process—from sourcing to packaging—drastically reducing costs while maintaining premium quality.
In 2020, Woof Island officially launched its brand, starting with innovative elk antler treats. By eliminating costly third-party intermediaries, they were able to offer natural, high-quality elk antlers at a more affordable price.
The innovation didn’t stop there. The brand’s latest breakthrough, Coconut Treats, offers a mess-free, convenient way for dog owners to incorporate coconut oil’s health benefits into their pets' diets. These treats solve common problems of manual mixing and mess, providing a simple, effective solution.
Today, Woof Island continues to disrupt the pet treat industry with a focus on product quality, vertical integration, and forging new industry relationships.
